Christmas in Chania

Thousands of people, of all ages , children, at the illumination of the Christmas Tree of the Municipality of Chania.

A big celebration with thousands of attendees took place on Friday night, 09/12/2022, at the Venetian Harbor of Chania, at the lighting ceremony of the great Christmas Tree of the Municipality of Chania.

The crowds gathered in the square behind the Yali Mosque, where the new Christmas tree of the Municipality has been placed , marking the beginning of the festive season of Christmas ’22 and New Year’s Eve ’23.
